How to Order

Pottery takes time to make, time to dry, time to fire.  If we have a piece you desire in stock it can usually ship within a week.  If not, it can take anywhere from six weeks to nine months to make it, depending on what leaves are available in a particular season. 

We do not have a shopping cart on our web site for many reasons.  It keeps our overhead lower, allows more direct interaction with customers, and solves problems of tracking inventory that is all one of a kind and made by hand. Our inventory system consists of looking to see what we have in stock.  It’s primitive but rarely malfunctions.  If you want to use a credit card we need to speak directly on the phone.  Wedding registries are also tracked only through the systems listed below (we don’t put registries online).  Just give us the names of the couple and we can let you know what they want either by phone or email.

It is not secure to send credit card information via email so please don’t do that!

Placing an order

By Phone:  If you get our answering machine please leave a message (we do not have caller ID.  If you don’t leave a number we won’t be able to call you back).  We will return your call as soon as possible.  If you let us know the best times to reach you we will call then.

By email:  Send orders to leafware@mindspring.com (or make inquiries about what is available).  I will respond with any information you need and can give you cost details as well as turn-around time.  You can either send a check (see address below) or speak to us over the phone (we can make plans via email to talk at a time that is convenient to you) to give us your credit card information.

Order Online:  Several of the galleries who represent our work do offer shopping carts sales.  If you really desire a shopping cart experience (tends to offer less variety in terms of leaf/pattern availability), you can go through any of our gallery affiliates who offer this option. See our “Galleries” page and look for the ***.
